Fitness Experience:

Christine has been a certified personal trainer for eight years helping people of all ages achieve their fitness goals and maximize their fitness potential.Christine is certified by the American Council on Exercise (ACE) as a personal trainer and is also a member of the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM). She is also certified by the American Heart Association in CPR (adult, child, infant, and AED) and by the American Red Cross in First Aid.

Christine currently teaches Exercise Science in higher education to those students who desire to have careers in the fitness industry. She has been teaching health and fitness in higher education for eight years. As an educator and personal trainer, she consistently attends seminars, lectures, and stays atop research in the field of health and fitness. Continuing education is of utmost importance to Christine to be able to fully help her clients succeed.

Due to her wide array of education and experience, Christine works with many different populations. She specializes in working with those (adults and youth) who wish to change their body composition by losing fat and increasing muscle mass. Christine also includes functional and balance training. Through a program of good nutrition and exercise, her clients are able to live healthy lives.

Christine also specializes in sports performance. She has been a head coach at the collegiate and high school levels, as well as, directed many camps and clinics. Christine has trained her athletes by incorporating cardiovascular conditioning, muscular strength and power, plyometrics, and balance training. She was also a Division I athlete in fastpitch softball. As an educator, she has taught many different sports including: softball, volleyball, basketball, golf, bowling, and soccer. Christine will be able to help athletes maximize performance in their sport through sport-specific training programs.

The training philosophy Christine adopts is very simple. She wants her clients to be in the best shape they possibly can which will in turn make their lives happier and healthier. Good nutrition and exercise will become part of their daily lives. Christine has seen the ill effects obesity and poor nutrition has on the body, so her mission is to help those who want to make a change for the better.
